I went to the store this morning looking for baby food, and came home with all the ingredients for this perfectly refreshing peach sangria recipe.
My Nonna (grandmother) and Dad are staying with us this weekend. That means lots of little breaks for me; Eli is infatuated by his Nonno (grandfather). While they played, I decided to go to the store alone, miracle! First thing I did was grab a copy of Sunset Magazine. First page I turned to had this magical recipe…it was totally meant to be.
I made the Peach Sangria exactly how the recipe called, and it did not disappoint! We’re making a second batch as I type this. I couldn’t wait to share with you guys!
- 1 bottle of Riesling or other aromatic white wine
- 2 cups thin wedges firm-ripe white peaches (I used 3)
- 1/2 cup peach schnapps
- 1 cup loosely packed mint sprigs
- 1 bottle of chilled brut-style sparkling wine
